The spring loaded mouth gag does all the work. It is easy (at first) for the wearer to keep their mouth closed, but if they open their mouth to talk or for any other reason the gag keeps them from closing their mouth again.

Mouth gag opens to a maximum of 3", and can only be removed by pressing the rear of the gag and allowing it to descend.
